AK44 is a Rhino Charge Team headed up by Adil Khawaja. I am pleased to announce that my team and I have a confirmed entry for the 2021 Rhino Charge event.

With your support we have competed in many Rhino Charge races and raised over $500,000 for this great cause..

This year we will once again be using our Land Rover. Work on the car has started and we expect to test the vehicle in April.

As you may know, the Rhino Charge raises funds for the fencing and maintenance of forests and ecosystems around Kenya's important water catchment areas. The money raised during last year’s event will go towards fencing Mt Kenya and Mau Eburu. Work on these two projects is underway with a substantial part of the Mt. Kenya electric fence already built and now being rehabilitated. Parts of the original fence are over 25 years old when the first funds were raised by the Rhino Charge. A large part of Mau Eburu fence has been completed. Funds are also used for the maintenance of these important fences. This you will appreciate is a very worthwhile cause!
